Sonnetlimericks battle

This line ends in a tear.
This line ends as a shot.
This line ends I forgot.
This line ends almost here.

This line ends within fear.
This line ends it could not.
This line ends at some god.
This line ends very clear.

This line ends with a smile.
This line ends after a sign.
This line ends for a while.

This line ends not so fine.
This line ends after a mile.
This line ends cause it's time.

Exhausted now,
like to know how
to get inspiration
for a brilliant creation,
followed by 'Wow'.

After a while

I think I know how,
now.
A sonnet painted on a wall,
about nothing at all
'Wow'.

But

this is turning into a dirty poem battle.
Form can be cruel,
providing enough fuel,
to make hidden snakes rattle.

A swim in the Thames

Two handsome young men
swam in the Thames.
They swam and they swam
both were called James.

Two love-ly women
soon came their way.
They swam and they swam
both were called Fay.

So James met his Fay
there in the Thames
and Fay met her James
there in the Thames.

They married that day
quite near the Thames
James to his Fay and
Fay to her James.

They all bought a boat
berth in the Thames
continued to swim
sharing their names.
